ods version 43

the ODS is 43. i have tried creating a brand new db and importing alot of records into it, then doing a delete all and i get the same notes crash. not sure what it is. sometimes i get "maximum number of memory segments that notes can support has been exceeded" and another memory error that i failed to write down. seems to be the version 8.5.2fp4 though because any pc i goto that is still on version 7 works fine. instead of doing a select all in the view and pressing delete, i wrote an agent that gets each record one at a time and removes then, but the crash still happens after about 20k records being deleted.
